COMFORT, Texas - Judge Frieda J. Pressler, who served as Kendall County's Precinct 4 Justice of the Peace from 1986 until her death, has passed away.

Her passing was announced Monday, September 7, 2026 by the Kendall County Sheriff's Office.

For a large portion of Kendall County, Judge Pressler was more than a judge.
