Notre Dame Catholic School has established itself as a powerhouse in the Archdiocese Interscholastic Athletic League, capturing its second consecutive soccer championship with a dominant 5-0 victory over St. Mary Magdalen in the league final at St. Gerard Athletic Center.
The Fighting Irish capped a remarkable 2026 campaign with a perfect 8-0 record, outscoring opponents 56-7 while successfully defending the championship they first captured in 2025.
A year ago, Notre Dame surprised the league with a young roster composed primarily of sixth graders who played year-round club soccer in Kerrville and Boerne.
