Nacogdoches ISD adopts decreased budget for upcoming school year

The Nacogdoches ISD School Board adopted a decreased budget for the upcoming school year due to expected enrollment decrease.

NACOGDOCHES, Texas (KLTV) - The Nacogdoches ISD School Board adopted a decreased budget for the upcoming school year Thursday as the district expects about 100 fewer students to enroll.

The adopted budget for the 2026-2027 school year is $71,490,177, less than the budget for the previous school year which was $72,118,251.

One of the budget items seeing a decrease is student transportation.
