The start of the high school football season is inching closer and area football teams - including Comfort, Champion and Boerne High - held intrasquad scrimmages last Saturday.

Teams will scrimmage against other teams this week.

On Thursday, Comfort is at Marion and Boerne is home against La Vernia.
