DENTON, Texas - Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton issued a statement Friday declaring victory in a lawsuit involving gender-neutral bathrooms at a Denton Pride event, but organizers say they had already complied prior to the suit.

Paxton had filed the lawsuit on June 1 against the city of Denton to stop the creation of gender-neutral changing rooms at the "Big Gay Swim Day" event being held on June 7 by PRIDENTON and Denton OUTreach.
