Tropical Depression Edouard brought heavy rainfall to Deep East Texas, providing relief to areas that have experienced high temperatures and burn bans.

Groveton was among the areas affected by the storms.

Residents said the rain was disruptive but welcome."It's making me feel good 'cause I cut grass. Makes the grass grow," Groveton resident Roosevelt Young said.
