(KGNS) - Workforce Solutions South Texas hosted the 2026 Youth Career Expo, giving students a chance to explore different career paths and see what's possible after graduation.

KGNS attended the event looking for the next generation of faces and voices to help tell community stories.

One student, Jesiah Gomez, shared his interest in sports broadcasting."Learn more about sports media, getting into the business with it, hopefully go to college and learn more through it," Gomez said."I love the atmosphere of it. I love the experience of it. I love everything about it, everything about sports. Just, I love it," Gomez said.
