WACO, Texas (KWTX) - A Bruceville-Eddy Man who shot and killed a man he warned off his property in 2025 and then told him to "die slow" was sentenced to life in prison Wednesday.

Brandon Michael Davis, 20, must serve at least 30 years in prison before he can seek parole in the January 2025 shooting death of 38-year-old Dustin (Dusty) Ray Nobles, who had previous run-ins with Davis before the fatal incident.

Jurors in Waco's 54th State District Court took just 15 minutes Tuesday before rejecting Davis' self-defense claims and finding him guilty of murder.
