Corazn Ministries is preparing to grow as more people turn to the downtown day center for help getting off the streets, accessing basic services and taking steps toward recovery.

The ministry, located behind Grace Lutheran Church, now serves more than 300 people on some days.

Leaders said the figure is up from a little more than 125 people a day in 2023 - reflecting a sharp increase in demand for low-barrier support.
