A 31-year-old man has been arrested and charged with capital murder after a woman and another man were fatally shot outside a north Houston home Monday morning, according to the Houston Police Department.

David Herrera was arrested Oct. 5, shortly after the shooting that killed 29-year-old Dariela Cardona and Erick Gerbitz.

The shooting was reported around 8:20 a.m. at a home in the 900 block of Lindale Street.
