HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- An standoff is underway after an armed suspect barricaded himself alongside a 4-month-old infant at a home in south Harris County on Monday, according to Sheriff Ed Gonzalez.

According to authorities, SWAT and Precinct 7 deputies responded to the scene in the 11800 block of Princess Garden Way, near W. Orem and SH-288. Details are limited to what led up to the situation.
