NET HEALTH reports 5 Cyclospora cases in East Texas
The Northeast Texas Public Health District reports five cases of Cyclospora, a foodborne illness causing severe gastrointestinal symptoms, across Smith, Gregg, and Henderson counties in East Texas.

TYLER, Texas (KETK)-- Five cases of Cyclospora have been reported in East Texas, according to the Northeast Texas Public Health District.
The foodborne disease causes severe diarrhea, nausea, bloating, and cramps and is spread by improper hygiene.
Currently, there are two cases reported in Smith County, two in Gregg County and one in Henderson County.
