BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) - A brand new school year is just around the corner, and a couple of local organizations are making sure that students and parents start the year off on the right foot.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Brazos Valley and Daniel Stark Injury Lawyers have partnered up to give away backpacks and school supplies to local students on August 8.

The goal is to help students get ready for the new school year without families having to worry about the financial burden of purchasing school supplies.
