A new Fort Bend ISD middle school is welcoming students for the first time Tuesday morning as Amy Coleman Middle School officially opens its doors.

The district is hosting a grand opening event from 8:15 to 9:15 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 11, at the new campus at 22200 S. Post Oak Blvd. in Fresno.

Doors are scheduled to officially open at 8:20 a.m., when campus leaders and staff will welcome the inaugural class of Coleman Cowboys and their families at the school's main entrance.
