HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) - Raymondville was awarded nearly $1 million for its citywide park improvement plan.

Congressman Vicente Gonzalez presented a $965,467 grant to the city of Raymondville on Tuesday.

"Congressman Gonzalez and his staff work very diligently to help us out just about every day," said Raymondville Mayor Gilbert Gonzales.
