LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) - Lubbock ISD received a $6,000 donation Tuesday evening ahead of its scheduled town hall.

Mister Carwash team members presented the check to the district at the Byron Martin Advanced Technology Center near 34th Street and Avenue Q. The money was raised through a fundraiser held during its grand opening earlier this month.

District representatives met with students, parents and community members Tuesday night to discuss current school performance and future plans for the district.
