HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- A man was killed in a hit-and-run on the Gulf Freeway after jumping out of a moving vehicle during an argument with his sister, authorities said.

Houston police said the crash happened around 2:30 a.m. and closed all inbound lanes until 6:45 a.m. According to HPD, a man was driving home from a Whiskey River nightclub with his girlfriend in the passenger seat and his girlfriend's brother in the back seat.

Authorities said the siblings started to fight for an unknown reason, and the brother punched and fought his sister from behind.
