Story, photo courtesy of Steve Nash - Special Contributor to BrownwoodNews.com EARLY - The City of Early is preparing to launch what it's calling a Clean and Safe Program for the Town Center, which will involve hiring a small crew of part-time, weekend workers to act as ambassadors for the park and perform light maintenance.

Early City Council members approved City Administrator Tony Aaron's recommendation for creating the program.

Aaron said the workers won't act as security but will have duties including greeting and guiding visitors, report any issues with rules violations, picking up trash, cleaning and stocking rest rooms and light maintenance.
