COAHOMA, Texas (KOSA) - Coahoma ISD trustees have voted to move forward with an independent investigation into the district's finances.

The vote came after hearing from the community during Tuesday night's meeting.

A majority supported an independent review, but not without concerns."I believe the best thing this board can do is bring in a qualified outside entity with no affiliation or connection to anyone involved and let the records speak for themselves," said Vanessa King, a concerned community member.
