KGNS+ Honors: Stroke survivor and wife build support network for Laredo

(KGNS) - 20 years ago, Bill Hrncir suffered a sudden stroke on a running trail in Austin.

Now, he and his wife, DeeDee Hrncir, run a support group ensuring stroke survivors in Laredo do not have to navigate recovery alone.

Hrncir felt a sudden, crippling headache while running on the trail in Austin."I had no idea an extreme headache could be the sign of a stroke," Bill Hrncir said.
