We have issued First Alert Weather Days for Tuesday evening and Wednesday to account for some possible heavy rain, flooding impacts, for parts of east Texas in association with newly formed Tropical Depression Five, soon to be Tropical Storm Edouard.

This system is set to make landfall as a tropical storm somewhere along the upper Texas coast on Tuesday afternoon, evening, before trekking up into our part of the state on Tuesday night.

The center of circulation could pass over the Trinity River and/or include our southern counties and communities such as Crockett, Trinity, Groveton, and Livingston.
