But for one Waco business owner, they represent a journey of healing, loss, and finding purpose after tragedy.

Sheena Stem Olenick, the owner of Dream Big Balloons, has turned her grief into a thriving business that brings joy to others, five years after the murder of her father, Alva Stem Jr. In 2021, Stem was shot and killed by a tenant at a Waco rental property owned by Olenick's parents.
