WACO, Texas (KWTX) - As the sun set Thursday evening, over 1,000 glowing luminaries lit up the historic Waco Suspension Bridge, casting a soft blue light over the Brazos River to honor loved ones who have died.

The fifth annual Lights of Love event, hosted by Providence Hospice-Community Healthcare of Texas, brought together families, friends, and neighbors for a peaceful, self-guided walk starting at Indian Spring Park.

Each personalized luminary represented a tribute purchased in honor or memory of a special person.
