18-year-old sentenced to 36 years in prison after guilty plea to Coleman murder
An 18-year-old man pleaded guilty to murder and was sentenced to 36 years in prison for the death of Connor Murphy in Coleman County.

ColemanTODAY.com recently reported that 18-year-old Jace Scott pled guilty Wednesday afternoon in the 42nd District Court of Coleman County to the murder of Connor Murphy.
District Judge Arimy Beasley accepted the plea and subsequently sentenced Scott to 36 years in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice-Institutional Division.
The sentence was part of plea agreement in which Scott waived his right to appeal.
