The Gillespie County Republican Women are hosting a Law Enforcement Appreciation Luncheon during the organization's October meeting.

Local law enforcement officers and staff will be served lunch and beverages as a show of gratitude and support for their work in the community, Club Vice President Mary Saiidi said.

The luncheon is scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 21, from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at the Law Enforcement Center, 1601 E. Main St. The public is invited to stop by to meet and thank local law enforcement officers.
