HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- A new University of Houston Hobby School of Public Affairs survey shows Democratic candidates leading in the Harris County judge race and two commissioner races.

In the race for Harris County judge, Democratic candidate Letitia Plummer leads Republican Orlando Sanchez by seven percentage points, according to the survey.

Mark Jones, a Rice University political science expert and one of the study's authors, said that margin is not considered a big lead.
