HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) -- The Brownsville City Commission passed a 90-day moratorium order on data centers on Wednesday evening.

HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) -- The Brownsville City Commission passed a 90-day moratorium order on data centers on Wednesday evening.

Wednesday's meeting marked the commission's final reading on the moratorium.

The moratorium will pause the processing, acceptance, and approval of data center applications within Brownsville.
