A 17-year-old Lakehills girl who was the subject of an Amber Alert Saturday has been located safely in Kilgore, Texas, according to the Bandera County Sheriff's Office.

Gabriela Cabrera was located by Kilgore police after Bandera County deputies and investigators conducted interviews with friends and family and used cellphone location data to identify a potential location in Kilgore.

According to Sheriff Josh Teitge, investigators received a cellphone location ping indicating Cabrera might be in Kilgore and requested assistance from the Kilgore Police Department.
