(KGNS) - Two men were arrested on robbery charges after allegedly assaulting a man and stealing jewelry from him on the city's east side, according to the Laredo Police Department.

The incident occurred at about 9:34 p.m. Aug. 7 at the intersection of Santa Rita Avenue and Poggenpohl Street.
