HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- An investigation is underway at Freedom Park after reports of a body found in the area following reports of gunfire, according to the Houston Police Department.

Details are limited, but HPD said someone called 911 and said they heard gunshots in the area.

At one point during the investigation, officials said a body was found in the area.
