The Comal ISD Board of Trustees approved the naming of the new Life Bridges east campus during its meeting on Oct. 22.

The building will be named after Dan Krueger, a longtime community volunteer who served as a Comal ISD Board of Trustee for 15 years and on the board of the Comal Education Foundation for 20 years.

Krueger was surprised by the announcement.
