(KGNS) - A Trautmann Middle School student is channeling his positive energy into an entrepreneurial venture.

Adrian Cazares, widely known to his school community as "Chief," launched his own sunglasses brand, "Chief 21."The middle schooler is known on campus for high-fiving classmates, competing in athletics and earning a spot on the homecoming court."Beautiful and colorful. He brings a lot of life and fun," Trautmann Principal Andrea Garza said.

"He is highly involved. I think one of my favorite parts is the fact that he's also very much loved by our students."Origins of Chief 21The inspiration began when Cazares and his older brother, Gael, began wearing oversized athletic sunglasses.
