Permian Basin veterans honored during three-day Honor Flight to Washington D.C.

Local veterans got the chance to embark on an all-expenses-paid trip to Washington D.C., courtesy of the Permian Basin Honor Flight.

Send-offVeterans, families and guardians gathered Wednesday night at the MCM Grande Hotel in Odessa for a send-off dinner ahead of the flight.

Joining the veterans for the first time was Todd Hunter, senior advisor for the Office of the Secretary of Veterans Affairs.
