LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) - A Lubbock Police officer shot an armed man who police say led them on a chase, fired shots multiple times and threatened officers in east Lubbock Monday morning.

Police Chief Seth Herman said around 9:43 a.m., officers responded to reports of a man firing a gun near the Canyon Lakes area.

The suspect then showed a gun while driving around the area, according to 911 callers.
