ECTOR COUNTY, Texas (KOSA) - A man was arrested on a felony charge after deputies said he admitted to firing rounds into the air in the direction of homes in Ector County.

The Ector County Sheriff's Office said deputies and an investigator heard gunshots at around 9:07 p.m. on Aug. 22 while conducting a traffic stop near the area of FM 1936.

Deputies found multiple spent casings and guns during the investigation, according to the sheriff's office.
