VAN ZANDT COUNTY, Texas (KLTV) - The Wills Point Police Department is searching for a man who escaped during a federal immigration custody transfer.

A department spokesperson said the man escaped around 4 a.m. Tuesday and was last seen in the area of County Road 3901, known as Deen Road, in Wills Point.

The man is described as a Hispanic man around 5 feet 5 inches tall and wearing a navy blue shirt or hoodie with blue jeans, the department said.
