BEXAR COUNTY, Texas - A man was arrested on animal cruelty charges after two dogs were found dead inside a vehicle Monday in northeast Bexar County, according to the sheriff's office.

Joseph Paz, 32, placed two medium-sized dogs inside the vehicle around 3 p.m. in the 7800 block of Woodlake View, BCSO said.

Paz initially intended to remove the dogs from the vehicle at some point to take them for a walk, the sheriff's office said.
