HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- A recent look into the archives of the Houston Chronicle revealed that the issues that most concern Harris County residents haven't changed much over the last 50 years.

The Houston Chronicle, a news partner of ABC13, published an article on Aug. 31, 1976, describing a survey conducted by two professors at the University of Houston.

"Dr. James E. Stafford and Dr. Robert Lehnen based their conclusions on a study in which they questioned 1,000 county residents and 133 community leaders on their biggest concerns in regard to the county's future," the article states.
