Recognizing that recognition is important, leadership at the Seguin police and fire departments are changing things up this year.

The groups annually host a commemorative program each year on Sept. 11 remembering the events of the day Americans were attacked on their home soil.

But with this year being the 25th anniversary of the terror attacks, the departments are making changes, Police Chief Jason Brady said.
