Two local women, Irene E. Ramos and Vanessa Garcia, will be the featured authors at the Poteet Public Library book signing on Saturday, Sept. 12. From 12-2 p.m., they will sign copies of their children's books.

Ramos is the author of "The Legend of Little Smoke in the Face: The Tale of a Boy Who Took Brave Steps to Help" and Garcia is the author of "Berry's Golden Harvest." The event is being sponsored by the Poteet Friends of the Library.
