The Operation Round-Up Board of Directors at Central Texas Electric Cooperative recently approved a $2,500 grant to Honor Veterans Now, a nonprofit organization based in Fredericksburg.

The organization strives to honor veterans and their families by helping to eliminate hunger among vulnerable military veterans.

Its mission is to address food insecurity for veterans who are in need but ineligible for other funding or assistance because of certain criteria such as age or location.
