HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- An 18-year-old man was shot and killed while driving in Northwest Harris County early Saturday morning, the Harris County Sheriff's Office said.

According to deputies, the incident happened on Kuykendahl Road near York Creek at around 3 a.m. Law enforcement officers said a major scene is tied to the investigation, and the northbound lanes remain shut down.

Deputies said they responded to reports of a single-car crash on Kuykendahl Road, but when they arrived, they realized the driver had been shot multiple times.
