Credit: Facebook / Kingpin Kush San Antonio hemp retailer Kingpin Kush and two other Texas hemp businesses have sued the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS), arguing its newly implemented rules banning THC-containing hemp products run afoul of state law.

Filed Wednesday in Travis County District Court, the lawsuit seeks a temporary injunction against DSHS enforcement of the ban on THC-containing hemp products until state lawmakers can address the issue when the Texas Legislature convenes in January.
