BELLMEAD, Texas (KWTX) - On Nov. 3, voters in the city of Bellmead will decide whether or not to restore their local sales tax.

Every purchase includes a combined state and local sales tax.

Until recently, Bellmead's local sales tax was set at 1. 25%, bringing the combined sales tax to 8. 25%."It's part of the regular sales tax that you pay at the convenience stores, the grocery stores already, that 8. 25%," Mayor James Cleveland explained.
