SAN ANTONIO - A San Antonio man was sentenced to prison last week for killing his girlfriend's coworker in 2025 on the Southwest Side.

A San Antonio man was sentenced to prison last week for killing his girlfriend's coworker in 2025 on the Southwest Side.

A jury decided Ronnie Jay Salas, 24, will spend 70 years in prison for the murder of Andre Montera, 24, the Bexar County District Attorney's Office said Wednesday.

On April 23, 2025, Salas "ambushed" Montera over a suspected affair with his girlfriend, the district attorney's office said.
