(KGNS) - A search warrant affidavit details the investigation into the death of Mayra Landeros, who was stabbed on Oct. 28.

The document accuses her husband, 29-year-old Abel Garza, of murder.U.S. Customs and Border Protection confirmed to KGNS that Garza was an off-duty Border Patrol agent at the time of the incident.

Police responseAccording to the eight-page affidavit, neighbors in the 5500 block of Texana Street called police after a man covered in blood knocked on doors and asked for help.
