LINDALE, Texas (KLTV) - People looking to adopt a dog or get a pet microchipped can attend an event in Lindale on Saturday, Nov. 7.

The City of Lindale Adoption & Microchip Event will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 501 Blackberry Blvd. The city is hosting the event in partnership with the Smith County Adoption Center and Tyler Junior College veterinary technology students.

Dogs available for adoptionHolli Jones, coordinator of the Smith County Animal Shelter, said the shelter will bring mostly small to medium-sized dogs, along with a couple of puppies.
