ATHENS, Texas (KLTV) - A Henderson County district judge has sentenced an Athens man to 50 years in prison for the death of a sober-living roommate.

Judge R. Scott McKee issued the sentence following testimony Thursday.

Nicki Lee Gibby, 38, pleaded guilty to the crime in July.
