An enormous alligator was captured and killed in South Carolina, after a hunter spent four years chasing the animal.

Dig deeper: Video from Renegade Bowfishing obtained by the social news platform Storyful, shows hunter Chris Webb nabbing "Snaggletooth," an 844-pound, 14-foot alligator on Sept. 28 in Lake Moultrie, which is 50 miles north of Charleston, South Carolina.
