BELTON, Texas (KWTX) - A father and son rode 30 miles on their bikes to thank the Belton Lions Club for helping them start a cycling-based nonprofit to help others.
Earlier this year, Sean Beamesderfer and his father, Bret, joined fellow cyclists to raise money for Sean's friends, Walker and Colton."We did the ride for the Lions Club. We raised almost $7,000 for the 2 families," said Sean Beamesderfer, 16-year-old cyclist and co-founder of S2HC.
Walker was severely injured after being hit by a car while riding, and Colton was diagnosed with leukemia the same day.
